For The Love Of Dogs
If you've reached our page, we probably have something important in common- We LOVE dogs. All breeds, all sizes, all personalities. All dogs deserve the chance to reach their potential with their human counterparts. Training isn't really about obedience, it's about SAFETY. Poor recall, threshold manners, reactivity, excessive barking, resource guarding, trash digging, leash pulling and other common problems might seem like "no big deal", but they can be a matter of life and death for your dog. If you love your dog, the best thing you can do for them is give them training that will keep them safe.
The Dark Raider Name
In Megan's words: "Dark Raider Dog Training was named in memory of my "soul" dog, Dark Raider. Raider was the dog that fueled my passion for the lasting bond between humans and dogs. Raider was the most devoted dog I've ever been lucky enough to share a life with. All dogs have the potential to enrich our lives in all of the best ways- and we have the potential to do the same for them."
About The Owner
Dark Raider Dog Training is privately owned and operated by Megan George. So, you can expect consistent training from someone who absolutely loves dogs and puts their well-being first. Megan received her formal training from Camp K9 in Raleigh, North Carolina, but has been working with dogs and horses for most of her life. Megan sees it as an honor to be trusted with someone's dog.
Facilities
- DRDT is operated on 20 acres of wooded, private land. Dogs are given outdoor time on our peaceful property, for both training and play.
- Dogs are housed in the most safe and secure crates available. Impact Crates are used for boarding and Gunner Crates are used for Transporation.
- All dogs are outfitted with Fi GPS Location Collars as an additional safety measure.
